"Committed to Advancing Training to Persons in the Field of Gestalt Psychotherapy"

April 8, 2020
Dear Friends,
We at AGTI want to keep you updated on how we are handling our programs in light of the COVID-19 pandemic; the stay at home orders and orders not to have group meetings that currently impacts the lives of many of us. For the moment all of our usual programs, ongoing professional training, workshops and seminars are on pause. We are not about making predictions about their resumption, rather we are responding to what is happening at the moment. In order that our decisions are based on as complete information that we can possess at any given moment, NO decisions will be made to restart the programs until we have new information that we judge will keep us safe.

We are beginning to look at webinars and other online programs as forms of distance learning. These alternatives will make our training available in a virtual group, without the necessity of coming together in an “in-person” training.  We consider the gestalt perspective an important one in light of its different perspectives from others which are more commonly offered. We will be announcing those as we have prepared them.

In the meantime please contact Nicholas at 828-508-4539 or nicholasemmanuelagti@gmail.com, Ernest at 336-509-2736 or emccoy@guilford.edu to talk/discuss gestalt therapy, and/or any questions and discussions you may be interested in regarding gestalt perspectives and Sandra at agtiaagt@gmail.com or 828-231-3960 for other issues related to AGTI.

Please be well and safe. We hope to see you soon, in person or online.  Our best to each of you and your families,

Nicholas, Ernest and Sandra
